Steelers end the 1st half of the 2008 Season with a great record of 5-3
Pittsburgh Steelers start the season 3-1 in the 1st Quarter, & now the second Quarter they go 2-2 for a first half record of 5-3, not bad I might say. Here’s a recap of the 2nd Quarter prediction:
Week 5, Steelers @ Jaguars:
Jaguars are what kryptonite was to Superman – definitely they got our number. We can’t seem to beat these guys, regular season or playoffs. I still can ... Read More

Steelers off to a great 2008 Season, 1st Quarter of season prediction is 3-1
Pittsburgh Steelers start the season 3-1, off to a good 2008 season. Yup, that is my prediction for the Steelers this year. Here’s how I see it coming together:
Week 1, Texans @ Steelers:
Texans a young team, being led by a QB Matt Schaub who’s only starting for the 2nd year in his career & he didn’t play so well his 1st year due to injuries & his inconsistent play. ... Read More

Jack Lambert's famous intense growl (game face) - before, during & after games
Jack Lambert is another member of the Steelers in the 70’s that won 4 super bowls, as a star linebacker in that awesome Steel Curtain – and is recognized as one of the best middle linebackers in NFL history & has been voted in some lists as the toughest player of all time (whatcha expect from men of steel) . Played his college ball at Kent State where he ... Read More

Hall of Famer, "Mean" Joe Green going thru an attempted block & about to pursue the ball carrier. Ouch, I feel for whomever has the ball.
My 2nd fav Steeler, “Mean” Joe Greene – the Minister of Defense the meanest of the mean – a true terror to all Offensive Linemen, Quarterbacks & Half Backs throughout the 1970s & became arguably the most dominant defensive lineman in the NFL & is considered by many to be one of the best defensive lineman to ... Pittsburgh Steeler Hall of Fame Quarterback & NFL all time Great scrambling to throw one of his rocket passes to a teammate in Inclement Weather - the Legend, Terry Bradshaw
I’ll try to on a monthly basis add a Pittsburgh Steeler player from the past that I can recall as a true man of Steel, not necessarily a Hall of Famer nor Pro Bowler just players that I can recall fondly.
1st one is my fav Steeler, Terry Bradshaw – the man himself. ... Read More

After a successful 2008 Draft, like millions of other loyal to the Steelers Nation I’m so excited for the upcoming football season & can’t wait for it to begin. 3 months before pre-season games are played & 4 months before the regular season starts in Pittsburgh versus the new competitive Houston Texans Sept 7th. For those fans who don’t live near the Steel town, you catch them where you can – for me, that would be the times they used to come ... Read More

Finaly after much positioning/trading & second guessing by Draft scouts – the 2008 NFL draft is over. There will be winners & losers, as surely as some top picks will become pro bowlers – there will surely be bigtime flops. The higher the pick the bigger the flop possibility.
Steelers much like my fav basketball team the Lakers, haven’t lately picked in the top 5. Therefore chances of big flops are negated since they don't pick very high.
New Steeler RB Rashard ... Read More

Gosder Cherilus in action
The 2008 NFL draft is upon us. Based on past Pittsburgh Steelers off seasons – it becomes apparent that our beloved Steelers will not tinker with the roster much via free agency – the NFL draft is the way to bring in new talent. Last year the Steelers had a great season, & no pun intended due to a bad break (Willie Parker’s leg break) our teams best threat/home run hitter went down when he ... Read More
