Week 1, Steelers open at home against the Houston Texans
Houston Texans Defensive Star Mario Williams who was the NFL 1st pick in the draft a few years ago, just finishes off getting a sack against the Denver Broncos (he tallied 14 total sacks last year).
Well after a tough playoff loss by the game Steelers against the Jacksonville Jaguars last season that ended a great campaign for the men of steel (we could have won if Willie Parker were healthy), a new season ... Read More

Louis Lipps, one of my fav Steelers while growing up. He played for the team when they had lousy seasons & not great QB play. This was the 80’s where the Steelers had some bad bad QBs & with him being a WR – that meant not too many chances to shine. But still he did.

Prediction 4th Quarter of the 2008 Steeler Season
Pittsburgh Steelers plow thru their last 4 games with a 3-1 record, moving them to another great year. 10 – 6 being their final mark, & winners of their division the AFC North.
Week 14, Cowboys @ Steelers
Playing probably the most talented roster of players in the NFL (maybe Chargers beat them slightly), this will be a tough one for the Steelers to win. My heart says they do, but the realist in me – says ... Read More

Prediction 3rd Quarter of the 2008 Steeler Season
Pittsburgh Steelers first half record is 5-3, 3rd Quarter mark of 2-2 brings their record to 7-5 – they’ll need a good push in the last 4 games to make the playoffs / get a bye. These 4 games have got to be the toughest stretch for them this year, as they play 3 top dogs in the AFC in this stretch.
Week 10, Colts @ Steelers
Playing probably the best offensive team the last 5 years, ... Read More

Pittsburgh Steelers start the season 3-1 in the 1st Quarter, & now the second Quarter they go 2-2 for a first half record of 5-3, not bad I might say. Here’s a recap of the 2nd Quarter prediction:
Week 5, Steelers @ Jaguars:

Jack Lambert's famous intense growl (game face) - before, during & after games
Jack Lambert is another member of the Steelers in the 70’s that won 4 super bowls, as a star linebacker in that awesome Steel Curtain – and is recognized as one of the best middle linebackers in NFL history & has been voted in some lists as the toughest player of all time (whatcha expect from men of steel) .
