After a successful 2008 Draft, like millions of other loyal to the Steelers Nation I’m so excited for the upcoming football season & can’t wait for it to begin. 3 months before pre-season games are played & 4 months before the regular season starts in Pittsburgh versus the new competitive Houston Texans Sept 7^th. For those fans who don’t live near the Steel town, you catch them where you can – for me, that would be the times they used to come to the city of Angels (no longer the case now since both Rams & Raiders left LA), now it’s when they come to San Diego – it’s quite a drive, a little over 2 hours, but very much worth it – to play the Chargers. Unfortunately this year, Chargers play the game in Pittsburgh on Nov 16^th. For those who are able to, pls don’t wait & order your Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets asap – as they are bound to sell out quickly. With the new infusion of talent via the NFL 2008 draft of Rashard Mendenhall RB, Limas Sweed WR, Bruce Davis OLB added to the current crop of talent on the team of Big Ben, Hines Ward, Fast Willie Parker, the Tazmanian Devil & countless other unheralded players – 2008 seems to be a year where the Steelers will light up the scoreboard everywhere they play. If healthy this season, I see a great chance to make it & win the Superbowl, as there is no denying they have great talent in the skill positions – which will enable the Steelers to score a lot & often.
