Steelers Draft Needs for this season
Hard to predict what a Super Bowl winning team needs to maintain it’s dominance. Steelers were number 1 ranked Defense in the NFL – there is usually only one way to go from here & that is down. As long as we keep replenishing the Defensive ranks with standouts who after 1 or 2 years of developing can come in & start – I don’t think we’ll have a problem here. 2 key players they have ... Steelers win Ring #6, beat Cards in Super Bowl 43
The Arizona Cardinals were game & both QB Kurt Warner & WR Larry Fitzgerald were every bit the star players we expected them to be. The Cards behind in the score throughout most of the game finally took the lead 23-20 with Kurt Warner to Larry Fitzgerald connection for a 64 yard touchdown with 2:37 remaining. Then it became the Big Ben & his Homeboy show (Santonio Holmes), as they drove for the ... Read More

Off to Tampa for the Super Bowl, Steelers will face the Cardinals
Boy was the AFC championship game a hard hitting, rough & tumble, defensive type of game. If you have any questions, go back to the hit that Ravens RB Willis MaGahee took from Ryan Clark that was so hard & ferocious – both players were down for awhile. McGhee had to be taken out on a stretcher, ouch – he turned out to be ok (just a very very sore ... Read More

AFC Conference Championship, Steelers host the Ravens
Well it has come to this, 2 Division Rivals facing each other for the opportunity to face the NFC Champ in the Super Bowl. Baltimore Ravens went to Tennessee & beat the Ravens in an ugly Defensive battle 13-10. Their prize, go to Pittsburgh & face the red hot Steelers – a team that has already beaten them 2 times this year. Even though the game is in Pittsburgh, this wasn’t the team I wanted the ... AFC Divisional Playoffs – Steelers host the Chargers
Not too many weeks ago while playing in horrendous weather, the men of Steel barely won a tough fought 11-10 game vs. the San Diego Chargers (Even though it was later learned, that the score should have been 18-10, as Troy Polamalu scored late in the game but the Refs ruled it not a touchdown, keeping the score 11-10 incorrectly – killing a lot of people who picked the Steelers to cover the spread that ... Week 17, Brownies come to Steel City for regular season finale
Once again, the reason for Steeler’s 31-14 loss was the very bad play of Big Ben (or should it be Little Benny), as he throws 2 picks & most importantly fumbles inside the Titans 3 yard line just when we’re about to get the game’s first points & make Tennessee come from behind. But, NO – Benny couldn’t keep the ball to himself, he decided to share it with the Titans. ... Read More

Week 16, Tennessee Titans host the Steelers for AFC supremacy
Steelers keep their run going, as they beat the tough & game Baltimore Ravens 13-9. Again the offense is non-existent till the 4th Quarter (when it counts). As they drive for a game winning touchdown (I myself think it was a bad call & it shouldn’t have been a TD) with less than a minute to go. Steelers are living dangerously, coming from behind like that against very good teams – but as ... Read More

Week 15 Battle for Division, when Steelers travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens
As predicted per last weeks post, the Steelers would beat the Dallas Cowboys & go into week 15 with a 10-3 record. It took an awesome miraculous finish to beat the Cowboys but it was done. Steeler offense was in hibernation for 3 quarters & then boom – it came to life in the 4th Quarter to tie it at 13-13. Then comes the Steeler Defense to save the ... Read More

Week 14 Steelers host America’s team the Dallas Cowboys
As expected, the Steelers beat the New England Patriots. Unexpectedly they crushed them, the game was a blowout of 33-10. Steelers main players played well, the Defense which is totally kicking ass every week, Big Ben had a decent game for the 3rd in a row (2 TDs & 1 Pick), Willie Parker 87 yards on 16 carries, and Hines Ward 5 catches & 1 being a TD.

Week 13 Steelers travel to New England to face the Pats
As expected, Steelers crushed the Cincinnati Bungles by 27-10 score in which Steelers Defense had a very easy time of it & Steeler star QB played like one again. For second week in a row, Big Ben had a superb, non-interception – game in which his rating was 90.0 or higher. His ratings were 96.4 vs. Chargers & 94.2 vs. Bengals, awesome. If Ben can continue his mistake-free play, the Steelers ... Read More
